| SIGNING IN
Signing in is simple. To begin, go to the main Bat-O-Matic
page and click on the link that says "Draft a team."
You will be taken to a new page where you will be asked to choose
two names. One is for your team and the other is for your
manager. Example: Team name = "Yanks Rule" Manager
name = "Jerry" (Please don't use your last name)
Then, click the button at the bottom of that page that says "sign
me up" and you're ready to draft your team!
Don't mess with the Commish: The Commissioner will reject
your draft entry if you use foul language in your manager's name
or team name. So play it safe and keep it clean!
DRAFTING A TEAM
You'll start with $4,500,000 to begin drafting your team
of 13 players. Naturally, the biggest stars cost the most.
So don't expect to fill your team with 13 superstars like Barry Bonds or A-Rod.
You'll need to draft for each of
the following postions:
| Position |
Number of players
|
| First
Base |
1
|
| Second Base |
1
|
| Shortstop |
1
|
| Third Base

|

|
| Outfield |
3
|
| Starting pitchers |

|
| Relief Pitchers |

|
| Designated Hitter |

If you go over your salary cap, or if you do not draft a full team
of 13 players, the Commissioner will reject your team. No problem,
you'll just have to back up and try again.
Note: You can draft a team at any time, but to compete in
that season's games, you must draft before 12:00 a.m. (midnight)
EST on Wednesday. At 12:01, the draft will begin for the following
season's games. Please set aside at least 15 minutes to sign up
and draft your team.
JOINING A LEAGUE
When you're done drafting, it's time to join a league. You can either
have the Commissioner assign you to a 10-team league, or you can
compete against your family and friends in one of our Hall of Fame
leagues. Hall of Fame leagues can have up to 50 teams per league!
